My Newest Find

My Newest Find

ON one of my recent outings I found this lovely Lanshire mantel clock.  I believe it is from the 1950's or 60's.  It is made of fine porcelain and is either kaolin porcelain or fine bone china.  It feels and looks more like kaolin porcelain that you find in French Limoges porcelain.

It has beautiful detailing on it to include these cute cupids, roses, gold trim, and pretty handpainted details as well.

The face of the clock is beautiful and the clock itself works perfectly.

Markings on the back and the electrical cord.

I feel very fortunate to have found this lovely piece and to give it a new home here at Tea Cottage Pretties.  I simply adore old beautiful things.

Here is my clock in its new home.

Off to see what other lovely things I can find in our new home.

What lovely things have you found lately?

Be sure to come back to see my new post from time to time featuring my crafts, decor, and my finds.
