Today I was happy to get my vintage snow angels in the mail.  They looked a little worse for ware so I had to freshen them up.  After some love and attention they came out looking good as ever. So without further adieu here they are in their new home.

More decorating....

My Holiday Table and my vintage pink bottle brush wreath!!!!

This is my vintage dolly all dressed up for Christmas.
My new vintage pink angels. They have spun cotton heads and were made in Japan in the 1960's. I have 5 in all.

Here you see my vintage snowman, angle, reindeer, Santa and one of my paper houses in my village.

Here you see my tiny little vintage pink angels also from the 1960's.

I am still busy as a bee with my needle felting and decorating. I finished my needle felt SNOW LADY on 11/15/2011. She turned out really sweet. Here are a few pictures of her.

Along with the Holiday decorating that I love to do, I usually feel the need to craft something new for the Holidays as well. This year I am working on some new needle felt items. I just finished my first Santa. He is course fashioned to my taste - Shabby Chic of course. I wanted to share some pictures of him. Now I must go rest as it is very late but I had to get him all done.

I like to get a jump start on Christmas decorating. I do several trees so the sooner I get started the better. I like to have everything done by Thanksgiving. I start in my front room and work my way through the house. So this week I got out my decorations for the front room and I am almost finished with that room. Well that is to say if I actually ever really finish decorating a room. So with that thought in mind I must look for some new vintage items. I love to add at least a few special things to my collection each year. The other day I found these adorable little angels which I intend to use for my decorations and I found these really cute little angel paper mache ornaments. I will add the paper mache ones to my little village. Here are a few pictures. I will add more pictures when I have placed my new (new to me) babies where I want them.

First are my little Angel Babies

This is my village. I made all the houses from plain little houses I bought a few years ago. Of course I had to paint, glitter and decorate them each. My vintage PINK Christmas tree and my vintage snowman round out my village. I got the vintage snowmen last year and I so love them.

This is my little church

Glam Room

Recently my daughter wanted to redecorate her room. She is getting older and has developed her own style. Sometimes it is hard for a Mom to let go of her little girl and accept that she is becoming her own person. However, for me although it is hard I have found it very exciting. She pick out this dark purple paint for her room and although I wasn't sure about it, I let her get it. Then we started painting. We had collected all sorts of things over the years so shopping for her new room became a shopping trip through our own home. I had purchased some black spray paint because she want her room purple, white and with tons of black accents. So we went to work. I first cleaned, painted and rewired a vintage chandelier for her. Then I sat about painting all sorts of decor items. What we ended up with was a sort of GLAM room. It turned out beautiful/ Here are some pics. Enjoy!!!!!
