I'LL HAVE A BLUE AND WHITE CHRISTMAS

I'll Have A Blue And White Christmas

Our family room Christmas tree all decked out in blue and white snowmen and wintery items.

My favorite snowman.

My vintage teal blue bottle brush wreath and my girl's stockings.

A little Snowman vignette.

A cute little paper houses.

And a church

This little guy is hiding behind a branch, he is very shy.

I love vintage indents and although this is not vintage, it is stunning.

What a cute guy.....

Love this ornament...

Merry Christmas!

Already for Santa...

Let It Snow.....

Our Christmas table featuring Limoges hand painted porcelain.

I am still putting the final touches on everything but I am so happy to finally have everything decorated.  I added a few more special touches to our PINK CHRISTMAS decor in our living room.

Pink Christmas

Here are my Rachael Ashwell Shabby Chic tinted and etched glass ornaments.  A few years back Target had a fabulous collection of Christmas decoration by Rachael Ashwell.  I purchased one box of the pink because they were a little pricey.  Luckily after Christmas I was able to get a box of each color including pink, teal and clear.  I love these and I pulled them out to place them on our white Christmas tree.

I decided on white sparkle garland for the vintage putz styled houses,  original vintage paper mache and spun cotton snowmen and angels.  They are now ready for Christmas.

Here is my vintage fireplace mantel all decked out for Christmas.

Now I am off to start wrapping gifts for my beautiful girls.  See you when I crawl out from under all the gift wrapping paper.

From all of use here at Tea Cottage Pretties, we wish you and yours a lovely, bright and blessed Christmas.

Merry Christmas,

Beverly

A LADYLIKE VIGNETTE FOR THE WALL

A Ladylike Vignette For The Wall

I had a beautiful vintage beaded evening bag and my ribbon work brooch that I got from Lambs & Ivy on Etsy.  I wanted to display both of these beautiful pieces, so I looked around our bedroom and this frame jumped out at me.  I had one of my hand painted canvases in it but I wanted something different.  That something different turned out to be a beautiful ladylike vignette featuring the beaded evening bag and my ribbon work brooch.
I started with this...

And I put it together like this...

And I ended up with this....

I think it turned out to be a really pretty vignette.  I might need to find a vintage pair of gloves to incorporate into my new Ladylike Vignette, maybe a pink pair.

Hanging on our bedroom wall...

In bright light...

Lovely addition to our bedroom decor...

So in between visiting our family for Thanksgiving, making our own Thanksgiving on Sunday and getting our Christmas Tree, I manage to make something beautiful.

Here's to making life beautiful,

I 'M DREAMING OF A PINK CHRISTMAS

Wishing You and Yours A Very Happy Thanksgiving

I'm Dreaming Of A Pink Christmas...

I wanted to send my wishes to all my blogger friends for a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.  I thought I would share some of my Christmas decorating with you all.  I have uploaded lots of photos.  Hope you enjoy them.

White and Pink Christmas Tree

I also gave you a pretty French Crystal.

My large glitter paper Churches.  I made the needle felt Santa and Snowman.

My Manger and lots of Pink Bottle Brush Trees.

Vintage spun cotton paper mache snowmen and angels with my glitter houses and church.

I am thinking about what to use for snow for my village.  I will take new photos once I decide on what to use.

Around the room....

UPDATE:
Now that I have finished decorating I wanted to add a few more photos of our pink Christmas.

Rachael Ashwell Shabby Chic Ornaments.

I added white sparkle garland to my Putz styled village complete with vintage snowmen and angels.

My antique mantel is now ready for Christmas.

A panoramic photo of our Living Room.

Our Audrey even got a tiara for the Holidays.

We also found this beautiful tin that is a book and filled with tea.

And finally the last thin I wanted to share.  My neighbor gave me some art supplies and inside with some painting books I found this paper. This is just a sample of the paper and there are tons more vintage images on it.  I am thinking and you never know what I might have to make using these sweet images.

I will take more photos as I decorate more.  I have not decorated our family room yet but I will be doing that this coming week.  For the first time in quite a few years we are getting a real tree for our family room.  More to come, so we will see you very soon.

Once again, I wanted to wish everyone in the US,
A Very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving Day.

Hope everyone has a beautiful start to the Holiday Season,

Beverly
