DELICIOUS SUMMER LEMON POTS!

Delicious Summer Lemon Pots!

I have shared these before on my blog but they are so simple, delicious and elegant that I felt I should share them again.  As the long days of Summer are giving way to shorter days and somewhat milder temperatures, there is still time for a light delicious chilled dessert.

Lemon Pots

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest
(about 2 lemons)
1/2 Cup Sugar
2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream

(makes approx. 4-5 servings)

Combine heavy whipping cream and sugar in a pot and cook over medium heat.  Bring to a boil and cook an additional 3 minutes.  Remove from heat and add lemon juice and lemon zest.  Stir and let sit for a few minutes and then place in little dishes.  I used 5 small Limoges berry dishes.  Place in refrigerator to set and cool.

Then you can add any garnish you like.  We added a sprig of mint (just bought myself a very pretty and so fragrant mint plant), whipped cream and some tiny pearl candies.

So very delicious and refreshing!
I recommend them for a nice summer treat that will impress your family and quest!  Don't forget to make a nice fragrant tea to go with your lemon pots!!!

Enjoy,
Beverly

MY PINK POTS AND PANS!

My Pink Pots and Pans!

It has been some time since I have posted to my blog.  In that time I have been very busy learning to play the piano, taking care of my family and of course exploring Korea.

There is so much to do and see here in Korea and shopping has become one of my past times here.  There are so many great products here and I have not had any trouble finding my share of fabulous items to take back home with me.  My favorite has turned out to be kitchen items.

I featured my beautiful flatware that I am collecting here in Korea in this blog post

Perfect Shabby Chic Flatware!

http://teacottagepretties.blogspot.kr/2014/10/beauitful-new-find.html

Along with my beautiful flatware collection I have found a line of pots and pans that I am totally in love with.

These are top quality pots and pans and the nonstick lining is made of crystal, so there is no Teflon in them which is a big plus.  They cook food perfectly and clean up just beautifully.  Not to mention that they are pink and the handles on top of the lids are hearts!!!

I have 4 pots in my collection ranging from small (holds about 28oz) to large (great for stews, etc).

I found two of these months ago and I have been on the lookout for more of them and a couple of weeks ago I found more pots and I even found the frying pans!!!

The pans come in all different sizes but I only purchased one pan because I wanted to try them first to see how well they cook and clean up after.

Turns out they are just as fabulous as the pots and I intend to add more of them to my collection.

The pretty design inside the pan is part of the nonstick lining and it holds up beautifully!

Korea is a shopping mecca with so much to offer in the way of new and exciting products and services.  I am excited about finishing my flatware and my cookware collection while here in Korea.

I will be back very soon with some new things to post and share with all of you here in blogland very soon.

Hugs,
Beverly
