HAPPY SPRING

Happy Spring
from beautiful
South Korea

Me at Lotte World

Spring has sprung here in South Korea and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom!  The weather is a perfect mixture of cool breezes and mild temperatures.  Our family decided to knock off some things off of our bucket list for Spring Break. We first decided to go to Lotte World in Seoul, South Korea. Lotte World is an amazing underground amusement park although it does have one area outside that is called Magic Island.

Entrance to Lotte World

Escalators down to Lotte World.

The dome over Lotte World.

There are levels to Lotte World and in the center about three levels down there is a massive ice skating rink.

The park even has an indoor roller coaster.

It is a little hard to capture in pictures because it runs through the building but you get the idea right?

Now this girl is well past the age of riding roller coasters but it was amazing to see.

Now that's more like it, Bumper Cars!!!!!!

Fairies having tea!

Tiffany and I got our own wings!!!

A giant troll........

There is so much more to see and do but let's head outside!

I see a castle up ahead.

Inside the castle.

Beautiful building.

Across the lake you can see Lotte Mall and next to it Lotte Tower (at least part of the tower).   Lotte tower will be the tallest building in Korea once it is finished.  It is currently under construction.  See this link for more information:

Our monorail arrives.

From the monorail.

The monorail ran from the outside to the inside of Lotte World.  Notice the balloons near the top?  That is actually a ride!!!

While we were visiting Lotte World the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.  In my opinion the most beautiful part of our trip was seeing all the trees in bloom.

Until next time...

Korea is an amazing country from the sparkling clean streets to the massive engineering feats.  You can get a feel for the great pride that goes into everything they do here in Korea.  I have grown to love this country in the eight months that we have been here.  Looking forward to seeing and sharing more of our experiences here in lovely South Korea.

Happy Spring,
